Miami Swim Week: Summer 2016

UNITE was glad to be back for Miami Swim Week – Summer 2016! We went backstage to create some incredible new looks for Wildfox, Frankie’s Bikinis, Hammock, San Lorenzo and more. We partnered with Snip Salon and Blo Blow Dry Bar to create these beautiful beachy runway looks. See below to find out which UNITE products stood out the most at Miami Swim Week!

7SECONDS™ Glossing Spray

The newest edition to the #UNITEfamily product line was an absolute hit during Miami Swim Week, especially given the summer humidity! 7SECONDS™ Glossing Spray is an anti-humectant spray that’s not only dry and airy, but provides ultimate thermal protection and long lasting shine. Glossing Spray was used to prep hair before using any heat tools and to add a final glossy touch to the hairstyles created on the Lila Nikole, Hammock, San Lorenzo and Wildfox runway shows. This product worked amazingly to protect the hair from heat damage, add shine and fight frizz during Miami Swim Week.

EXPANDA™ Dust

EXPANDA™ Dust Volumizing Powder is magic in a bottle and exactly what was needed to create voluminous, textured hair for the Miami Swim Week runway. Stylists used EXPANDA™ Dust on the roots and massaged into the scalp for instant lift, volume and added texture on just about every look they created. Blo Blow Dry Bar from Brickell also sprinkled EXPANDA™ in the models’ beach waves to create a more textured look for the Frankie’s Bikinis show. EXPANDA™ Dust was also heavily utilized for creating textured braids during Miami Swim Week. Stylists sprinkled EXPANDA™ Dust into the finished braid and gently pulled it apart to create a loose, lived-in looking braid.

TEXTURIZA™ Spray

TEXTURIZA™ Spray is always a stylist favorite and perfect for creating lived-in texture that is so popular on the runways right now. Blo Blow Dry Bar from Brickell used TEXTURIZA™ to prep the hair for the wrapped fishtail braids they created for the San Lorenzo Miami Swim Week show, adding the perfect amount of texture, hold and volume to their braids.
