Not what I expected
"I was so excited to purchase this product because I have long, wavy, color treated hair that tangles even if I’m standing still. It gets so knotted, I’ve tried every detangler, leave in conditioner and brush or comb you can think of that is supposed to be good for detangling. As soon as it got here, I jumped in the shower and washed my hair, conditioned it as usual, and started the seven second countdown and thought that I was gonna have a nice brush out that didn’t hurt so bad that it brings me to tears, but that did not happen. This didn’t work any better than the detangler that I’ve paid $10 for, I was so disappointed. I thought I would give it another chance that maybe I didn’t put enough in so next time I washed my hair I separated it into clips and sprayed each section and again I was disappointed because again it did nothing for my tangles. In the reviews, I saw people that complained about the smell. I didn’t think it had a bad smell to it. I’m just very disappointed because this was very expensive and I don’t think it’s returnable. I will not be purchasing again and I’m sorry that I can’t recommend it to anybody who is looking for for a detangling."

- I am so disappointed in what was described by Unite as a "small price adjustment". I understand that tariffs and rising costs are happening but the price increase on the detangler alone is over 25%. This insane increase in pricing seems to be across the board. If inflation or tariffs improve is there ever a possibility of pricing returning to somewhat reasonable numbers? Bummed as I have used Unite products for the last 5 years but can not afford to shell out over $40 for a single hair product.

However, please note that because everyone's hair health will vary, we always recommend users be mindful of their own hair type and health before deciding which heat temperature they utilize for their heat tools. It can all depend on if you have thick or fine hair, use color or bleach, have very damaged hair, etc. These factors can help determine what temperature you utilize on your heat tools and if additional heat protectant is needed.
